Following on from the A5 Coupe's launch in summer 2007, a new V6 turbodiesel and
petrol FSI V6 arrive to strengthen the range further.
Audi buyers are spoilt for choice with the introduction of
the 2.7 TDI V6 turbodiesel and 3.2 FSI V6 Petrol engine. Both are packed with
the latest technology. The 2.7 TDI Audi A5 Coupe features advanced 'piezo common
rail; fuel infection and a diesel particulate filter. It delivers and impressive
power (190PS), excellent economy (42.2mpg) and low emissions. The 3.2 FSI also
features direct fuel injection. along with Audi A5 Coupe valve timings.

Both Engines are available with multitronic CVT
Gearboxes, though initially with front-wheel drive only. For
the 3.2 FSI, the sprint to 62mph takes just 6.6 seconds; the
top speed, where conditions permit, is 155mph. The 2.7 TDi,
meanwhile, reaches 62mph in 7.6 seconds and has a top speed
of 144mph. The 2.7 TDi produces 400Nm of pulling power from
an incredibly low 1400rpm, ensuring optimum throttle
response from very low revs.
The 3.2 FSI petrol engine in the Audi A5 Coupe produces its
peak power between 3,000-5,000 rpm and all six cylinders
resonate with an invigorating metallic growl. So if
