Used car value retained by Chrystler
Resale prospects for the Chrysler 300C saloon are looking good, says trade price guide publisher EurotaxGlass’s.

Contary to the trend among the vast majority of vehicle ranges, residual values for the Chrystler 300C saloon are exceeding those of the estae version, stats the publisher.
Despite costing less to buy new the saloon variant retains at least £1000 more in value when it reaches the second hand car market at three years old accirdubg to the used car experts at Glass’s guide.
Typically estate cars tend to hold their value better than the equivalent saloon models on the market because of the higher initial cost, lower volumes, and greater perceived desirability.
The Chrystler 300C saloon however is breaking the mould and proving to be a very popular choice. This increaased demand has held residual values above those of the estate model. The continued appeal of the Chrystler 300C is a result of its bold styling high standard interior specificaiton and good value for money.
Finally the question of what figure represents high mileage these days in a second-hand vehicle has been raised by online buyer outfit ‘used car expert’
You often hear proud buyers boasting about their low-mileage deal, but too often people are misguided, says the firms spokesman Matt Tumbridge.
It has long been assumed that cars complete 10,000 miles a year on average but in reality small city cars do quite a bit less and some big diesel saloons do a lot more, and family sized petrol engine cars somewhere in the middle.
The average mileage also changes with car age. As a rule the older the car the lower the average mileage. So it is essential before buying a car that you establish the average mileage for that specific age and model derivative that you are looking at.
