The new TDI Audi A3 Clubsport looks phenominal autoexpress has some fantastic pictures of the car.
The bodykit has been reshaped and redesigned to scream of power and agression. It literally looks like a car direct out of the ‘Need for Speed’ computer game and would certainly not look odd with the adition of some neon under car lighting!!
Audi are clearly aiming this car at the Petrol Head market and putting it in direct competition with Subaru STI, Focus ST, and VXR drivers but in my opinion have taken the car to another level, the interior styling is more refinded and stylish and is literally a top of the range mobile phone come x box come training shoe on wheels.
The A3 is now making a statement that TDI diesel cars are contenders for the performance car market and shold make some serious inroads into the competition with good sales expected on release.
Audi however are not giving much away to an eager audience and have not confirmed if this current concept will definately make it to production but fingers crossed as this would certainly be an experience to drive and filling up at the local Jet garrage will generate alot of sideways looks.
The only hit of a launch date was mentioned was 2009 sometime.
